**In the beginning there was an interaction ?**

The origine of the universe is not a singularity. Singularities are mathematical concepts usually indicating the value of some (continuous) function becomes infinite (and that is not a real number!),for example because some denominator goes to zero .The singularity is therefore certainly in the mathematical model but not in the reality it should be describing. In Physics one usually assumes time is a continuous function of the (positive) reals ,in fact usually assumed to be just the real line . But there is more wrong with this than just the assumption it can be correctly measured by real numbers. If we accept that there is a finite number of events (let us just say from the beginning till now ),hence states in the universe (even a billion a billion times exponented by a billion is a small finite number yet unimaginably big for humans!) then the set of different states of the universe is finite and so the time ,as the indexes of the different states (identical states are supposed to be identified!) is finite hence topologically discrete as a totally ordered set.

So any formula approximating the behavior of the universe cannot be continuous in the reals with the non-discrete order topology,in other words ,one cannot consider the limit of a function with time”going to zero “ !

The value of the function at the first state after the origin (and there exists a first one since there are only finitely many different states!))is finite so not infinity! The correct geometry and analysis of the universe should be one of finite geometry and discrete mathematics and combinatorics ,so no limits (unless for non-trustable approximation) .

Since we will never know the exact number of events in the past of or universe ,the continuous approach may be forever the best shot at an approxiation,nevertheless one should bare in mind the non-allowed conclusions eg centres of black holes viewed as points,matter being concentrated at a point (points having no size do not exist and cannot contain anything!) ,a particle viewed as a point (the barycentre for example) ,limits at points viewed as existing in reality!!!

I am not sure but I think probably S.Hawking realized this when he ultimately disagreed with his own theories.

Everything we observe is an interaction. That is obvious,it is an interaction between the observed and our senses via the brain activity . But is the observed in reality also an interaction ? An object is usually composed of many moving ,spinning,vibrating,subobjects but are there objects not containing any subobject ,that is the question for real atoms of existing ! What we call atoms nowadays are the smallest objects having a property of the matter under consideration,so they are the labels of the different kinds of matter we classify ,an iron atom , titanium ,… .Then when going to subobjects of an atom,say electrons,neutrons and so on ,we do not make distinctions anymore between iron-neutrons and titanium-neutrons ,we assume the smaller building blocks are common for all matter and the nature of the object matter is obtained from the structure of the composition of the building blocks .Are electrons ,for example,really interchangable,can I take one from iron and exchange it with one from a titanium atom without creating another difference? I do not think that is possible,at least it has not been done as far as I know. But let’s not worry and assume the building blocks smaller than an atom are of identical structure independent of the atom ,so is there a smallest building block or are there infinite chains of subobjects? If the universe is finite then there must exist real irreducible objects ,hence having no subobjects. Einsteins formula relates energy and mass so it is a question whether those smallest subjects have mass ,can they be massless ? Perhaps,so the better way of thinking here is probably in terms of energy .But if something is inside another can we say it is “smaller” or is size not defined for very small objects ,in other words is the geometry of reality really embedded in some manifold having locally real vector spaces with a metric describing it ? If the geometry of reality is a topological structure for example like the “rubber” geometry in algebraic topology then size does not matter and there need not be even an inside and an outside to shapes ; In a sense that idea fits our knowledge quite well, the table consists of moving atoms so its shape is not invariant as we believe from visual observation ,it is like a breathing object swelling and shrinking ! Only an irreducible object has no internal interactions,but if it is a massless purely energetic thing can it be the building block creating all matter?If so then all matter is created by the interactions between the energetic building blocks contained in the object; these interactions also determine the shape and size of the object,much like the moving atoms determine the shape of the table. Just one irreducible building block cannot explode ,so in the beginning of the universe there must have been many but finitely many free building blocks,purely energetic .The moment these started interacting time started and the universe was created,hence: in the beginning there was an interaction !

Conclusion: The End of my Quest ?

I have posted about the “ghost” objects at a state of the universe (see earlier post or my blog on Medium.com.) ,pointing out that nothing material or energetic exists (because that needs a nonzero time period) in a state ,yet there are things . As an (approximating) example consider a 3-dimensional material sphere and intersect it with a plane (so with thickness zero!) ,then the intersection does not contain anything from the material spere (since everything materialneeds a thickness) ,yet if you intersect the sphere with a thicker slice of space you may,depending on the thickness of the slice,observe some matter in the intersection. If you could film it you would see it grow with the thickness .So in a state there does not exist anything but there ARE some things,you could call them “momentary objects” but then not existing hence not observable . The relation between these ghost objects and objects in reality is created by the transition function between the states of the universe ,the transition functions are defined by the interactions which are defined in the same state as the ghost objects . Be careful to distinguish the momentary interaction and the effect of this in a time period,the latter is what is often called interaction ,so the effect of interaction takes time but the interaction is defined momentary ie outside time. The transition functions create the events,the effects of interactions and the real objects we can observe in time via changes.But the states cannot be compared nor observed because any action would automatically put us in another state . The momentary interactions are locally constant in time as the transitionfunction in a some time interval maps an interaction to the transited interactions which we may identify with the interaction then seen as the effect on the real object defined by the chain of ghost objects in the universe . After some longer interval (time is assumed to be totally ordered so these words have precise meaning) an interaction may be splitting in several ones (after a collision for example) or flow together(after some merging of objects for example) . At a moment after the beginning of the universe,the e function is depending on the past history of all events and interactions (o we have no chance of describing the least about it!) but at the state just after the beginning (remember we are at least assuming locally finiteness of the universe so after finite time the whole history of the universe is finite, this allows the universe to have no end and every state has a unique preceding and following one,this property does not hold for moments if we parametrize time by the real numbers,but since a finite number of events allows the selection of a shortest time interval for anything to happen ,you may in fact use the numbering of the state of the universe as given by positive integer numbers!),all objects in reality will only exist in the future .There were no events in the zero page of the universe,only momentary interactions between irreducible (“smallest” in some sense,but as explained in my foregoing post the geometry of the states is variable and need not be one of a manifold over the reals,far from!). The first transition function is thus defined by the initial momentary interactions.

To me this theoretic explanation is satisfactory ,the secret of creation is the initial momentary (outside time) interactions and how these defined the first transition function. Now where did the initial interaction come from ,outside time and space. I do not know. Here is some room for belief if you need it! I am satisfied that I have reached a model which is very satisfactory for me ,so yes,probably this marks the end of my quest. Perhaps I will now start to write a more scientific version of the whole theory and get it published ,from a dynamical non-commutative geometry on the states,to momentary ghost objects ,momentary interactions and transitions defining reality observed in time via” change” . I can live on with that.
